Every year I host Edinburgh Community Yoga and their brilliant weekend of yoga outreach training. As a Glasgow yoga studio I’m adamant that we have to take our place within our local community. We have to contribute what we can to support the community, foster relationships and nurture it to grow.
What even is Mysore style Ashtanga?
A Mysore style Ashtanga Yoga class is an assisted self practice class. In these classes all of our students are working on the same sequence of postures but their practice is tailored to where they’re each at. Students work through their own practice guided and supported by an experienced teacher.

Claire’s passion for yoga flourished as a teenager when she attended a yoga class at her local gym. Never considering that yoga could be a career path, Claire trained as a scientist and holds a Masters Degree in Neuroscience!
