Driving & Parking

If you’re driving you’ve got a range of straightforward parking choices and with a little planning, it can be very affordable.

Low Emission Zone (LEZ)

We’re inside Glasgow’s LEZ, but if your car is compliant, there’s no charge. You can check compliance in seconds on the Glasgow City Council website.

On-Street Parking

Best-Value Car Parks Nearby

  • NCP King Street (2 minutes’ walk) - Early Bird (before 9am) all-day parking is just £5.45 when booked through the app, or £1.45/hour at any time (prices as at Aug 2025). Details here →

Park & Ride / Park & Walk

Perfect if your car isn’t LEZ compliant or you’d rather avoid driving into the centre:

  • Subway Park & Ride – Shields Road, Kelvinbridge, Bridge Street stations (£7.90 all day, as at Aug 2025). Details here →

  • Robroyston Station – Free parking, just pay your train fare. Details here →

  • Duke Street Multi Storey – All day £6 or £2.50/hour (as at Aug 2025), then a 15-minute walk to the studio. Details here →

 

Getting Here by Public Transport

Our studio is in the heart of Glasgow city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from key train, subway and bus links.

Subway

  • Buchanan Street & St Enochs stations are about a 5-minute walk away.

  • Trains every few minutes

  • Runs Mon–Sat from 06:30 / Sundays from 10:00.

  • Dozens of city and local services stop within a short walk – including routes along Buchanan Street, Trongate and Argyle Street.
