Winter Solstice Sound Journey in support of Homeless Project Scotland with Tony Young

  • Merchant City Yoga 2nd Floor, 49 Virginia Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 1TS United Kingdom (map)

Winter Solstice marks the turning point of the year, the longest night giving way to the slow, steady return of light. Across cultures and centuries it’s been a time to pause, reflect and reconnect – a moment of stillness and renewal in the heart of winter.

Join Tony for an immersive Sound Journey to honour this seasonal shift. Through the deep resonance of gongs, the clear tones of Tibetan and crystal bowls and the gentle thread of voice, Tony will guide you into rest and reflection. The experience invites calm, balance and a quiet sense of release – a chance to let go of the year past and open to what’s ahead.

25% of proceeds from this event will be donated directly to Homeless Project Scotland, a volunteer-run charity offering food, shelter and support to people experiencing homelessness.

Everyone is welcome, no previous experience of sound work or meditation is needed. You can choose to sit or lie down during the session – most people prefer to rest lying down, but please do what feels most comfortable for you.
