Looking backwards to move forwards
Last summer I took a whole month out and travelled to Boulder, Colorado to study and practice with legendary yoga teacher Richard Freeman and his wife Mary Taylor at the yoga studio they founded, The Yoga Workshop. It was a 200 hour programme which included practice, teaching methodology, adjusting, philosophical study, chanting, silent meditation, anatomy and cadaver labs! In other words A LOT.

I’m so excited to announce dates for these two fantastic international teachers devoted to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga to visit MCY! We’ll do five days of Morning Mysore (Wednesday to Sunday) and a series of afternoon workshops Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
Escape to the Country
Since our amazing retreat at EcoYoga Centre last year (when we TOTALLY lucked out with the weather!) I’ve been searching for somewhere luxurious and comfortable, and possibly a bit closer to home, to escape to this year. Somewhere we don’t have to go outside if it’s raining and an amazing spot to sit outside when the sun shines…
Looking for some inspiration?
I love the idea of turning over a new leaf, of starting afresh. I think it’s good that we all have a cue as the year comes to a close to ask ourselves, “What would I like to change about my life? How could it be better than before?” Most of us have a list of things we’d like to do better…
