Winter Solstice Sound Journey in support of Men Matter Scotland with Tony Young

  • Merchant City Yoga 2nd Floor, 49 Virginia Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 1TS United Kingdom (map)

Winter Solstice Sound Journey: Tranquil Harmonies with Gongs, Tibetan Bowls, Voice and Drums.

Winter solstice, steeped in ancient lore and wonder, is marked by the shortest day and longest night of the year. It’s deeply woven into many traditions and rituals, all of which embody the spirit of hope and renewal, and the promise of longer days and the gradual return of warmth and light, during the darkest days of the year.

As the sun's rays grow shorter and the world outside retreats into hushed contemplation, dive into the rich soundscape of our Winter Solstice Sound Journey. Let the resonance of gongs ripple through your being, each wave gently caressing your senses and carrying you into the depths of inner stillness.

The luminous tones of Tibetan & Crystal Bowls will guide you through this celestial odyssey, their pure vibrations resonating with your chakras, helping you find balance and harmony within.

The human voice, tenderly woven into the symphony, will tell a story of connection, weaving together the threads of your consciousness and evoking a sense of oneness with the universe: an opportunity to release, renew and recharge as the longest night of the year envelops you in its soothing embrace.

We invite you to enter into the serene embrace of the Winter Solstice with this magical sound journey that will transport you to a realm of deep relaxation and profound meditation. As you immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations, let go of the year's burdens and greet the rebirth of light with renewed clarity and inner peace.

25% of the proceeds from this Sound Journey will be donated directly to Men Matter Scotland who work to support men and families affected by suicide and mental health issues.

Everyone is welcome, no previous experience of working with sound is necessary. You may choose to sit or lie down or a mixture of both during the sessions. Most people come for deep relaxation and like to lie down but you are free to do what works for you.
