Breathing Bones & Vinyasa Flow wITH Matt & Kat in aid of the Simon Community

  • Merchant City Yoga 2nd Floor, 49 Virginia Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 1TS United Kingdom (map)

Our final event before Christmas is a two-hour festive fundraiser in aid of the Simon Community, a charity working with people affected by homelessness across Glasgow and the Central Belt.

First, Matt will offer a warming and strengthening vinyasa practice uniting breath, attention and movement. Then you’ll get cosy as Kat brings the Breathing Bones practice to MCY for the first time.

Originally devised by Kat's beloved teacher Rosina Bonsu, Breathing Bones is a mindful and meditative movement practice. It offers you time to tune into the sensations of your body through a series of relaxed postures, using breath and gravity to free the joints, release the muscles, realign the skeletal structure and balance the body.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Simon Community, which provides practical support and assistance to people experiencing homelessness. In Glasgow this support includes 7 days a week street teams, supported accommodation and an award winning, multi agency Access Hub.

This very special class costs just £20 and warmly welcomes everyone.
You can choose to pay a little more knowing that every single penny will be donated to the Simon Community (Registered Scottish Charity No. SC003076). If you’re facing financial hardship this year you can pay less.

Matt and Kat are both MCY teacher training graduates Class of 2021.
