Mindfulness can be thought of as a technique which can help you feel calmer and able to manage stress better. You make a special effort to bring your attention to the present moment and become aware of what's happening in your body, your mind and your surroundings without judgement.

Our specially focused four week course is rooted in the traditions of zen mindfulness and meditation and will help you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings.

What can you expect?

  • An overview of stress including what stress is and how it can affect you;

  • Help identifying types of stressors and how to work with them;

  • Understand the role of change in stress in the process of handling;

  • A variety of practical mindfulness & meditation techniques;

  • Support and encouragement to use them in your daily life to help you reduce stress and anxiety.

Everyone gets a recording of each guided meditation with the aim that you try to meditate daily and can contact Patricia any time with questions or uncertainties as you go.

It’s perfect for you if you’re a complete beginner or if you’ve had some experience with mindfulness & meditation and would like to explore it further.

Mindfulness is something we all have naturally, but it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis. Our course will give you the techniques and support you need to develop your own mindfulness practice and manage your stress.

We recommend that you attend all classes in the course.
