This class is the most effective way of making progress in your yoga practice.

Our Mysore style Ashtanga class is an assisted self practice class. What that means is you’re working your way through the Ashtanga sequence at your own pace with your own breath but with the assistance and guidance of a teacher.

We’re all different and what’s best for another student may not work for you. In this class, when we give you advice or instruction it’s completely tailored to your body and your practice.

As you develop strength, stamina, flexibility and focus we’ll help you move onto more challenging postures safely.

Mysore style class is open to all levels.
We ask you’re familiar with Ashtanga style Surya Namaskar A & B and the standing sequence of postures.

Here’s some of the great things about coming to our Mysore style class:

  • You can start when it suits you. As long as you leave enough time for your whole practice you can join the Mysore class at any time. We suggest you start no later 75 minutes before the finish time. No need to worry about rushing to get to class on time anymore!

  • You get individual attention. Each student gets the individual attention they need. We all have postures that are difficult and challenging. In a led class its easy to skim over a difficult pose, but in Mysore style you have the chance to work one-on-one with an experienced teacher.

  • Mysore class is for everyone. Everyone does the same postures at their own pace, practicing together despite different levels of ability and experience.
