Intermediate Full Body Yoga Flow with Donna Rodgers
Donna’s love of golf really shone through during her yoga teacher training. As a yoga teacher, I’m excited to see students take what they’ve learned and apply it to their other passions! Here’s a little about Donna (in her own words)…
“I’ve been practicing yoga for the last 9 years.
As well as my passion for yoga I love to play golf, playing at my local golf course regularly as well as visiting different courses throughout the world – getting engaged on the signature hole at Disney Magnolia golf course!
Yoga had definitely helped me throughout all aspects of my life.
I feel it has helped me improve my physical and mental golf game. Using meditation techniques to help concentrate and switch off as well as improving my flexibility and strength.
I am company secretary for a kitchen and bathroom company and find this quite a high pressured/stressful job. My yoga practice, learning through my teacher training and further reading really helps me to manage my stress and switch off from my day job when needed. My day job in turn with my golf practice and spending time with my friends and family takes up most of my time. I have two fantastic 3 year old nieces who I love spend time with and who love to practice “animal” yoga with me!
Since qualifying from teacher training I have set up a beginners class in Cambuslang and take a class in a yoga studio in East Kilbride. Both hatha yoga.
Through lockdown I have moved my classes online to zoom and have started another yoga flow class which has recently become my favourite style of yoga to practice.
I love helping others enjoy their yoga practice and hearing feedback of the benefits that they get from class in all aspects of their life.
I am always learning and think its so magical the way you always get something new from every practice.”
Donna’s commitment to her yoga practice and teaching in addition to her golf game and her “day job” truly reflects her sense of purpose and dedication. Enjoy this class with her – it’s a slow moving flow aimed at students with some yoga experience.
Intermediate Full Body Yoga Flow with Donna Rodgers
You’ll begin with some breath work and then start to warm the body, moving into a slow paced intermediate level yoga flow for the whole body. You can take this session at your own pace. No props are needed, just a blanket for the final relaxation.
