Helping and supporting your students (or yourself) to practise while working with a shoulder injury is challenging, especially in an Ashtanga or Vinyasa Flow class.
During this workshop we’ll explore options for working with common shoulder injuries in the yoga room. You’ll:
Become more familiar with how the shoulder works and the basics of common shoulder challenges;
Learn practical options to work with in yoga class when working with shoulder injuries;
Build your confidence in knowing when you can offer guidance and direction to students.
It will not help you diagnose, treat or prescribe.
No two bodies or injuries are the same but we’ll look at shoulder issues in familiar families of postures that may affect them. This will help you offer actionable alternatives to minimise the probability of further aggravating injury.
Workshop Cost £35
