The practice of meditation and mindfulness is not only good for you, it can also lead to you finding your true self and living your most powerful and authentic life.

Many generations of Zen Masters have devoted their lives to this practice, carrying and passing on the teachings like an Olympic torch down through the centuries.

This 8 Week Course is designed to help those who wish to explore the Rinzai Zen way to finding out who you really are and living this true life for the benefit of all. It draws on the centuries of experience and understanding passed down in the Zen tradition and is accredited by the International Mindfulness Teacher Association (IMTA).

This course is not Buddhist or religious though, nor does it require you to believe or follow any tradition in particular. The only requirement is to be open and willing to practice.

You don’t need previous meditation experience to follow this course but in order to gain the full benefits we’ll ask you to commit to 30 minutes of practice each day for 8 weeks.

PART 1 - Mondays
March 22nd, 29th, April 5th & 12th

Course Content:

• Stress
• Mental Effects of Meditation
• The physical effects of meditation and mindfulness
• Elevated Function (I)

The mindfulness and meditation techniques that we’ll cover:

• Mindfulness of the breath meditation
• Fusho, unborn mind meditation
• Koan meditation
• Healing with the soft ointment meditation

This four week course is perfect for you if you’re a complete beginner or if you’ve had some experience with mindfulness & meditation and would like to explore it further.

PART 2 - Mondays
April 19th, 26th, May 3rd & 10th

Course Content:

• Elevated Function (II)
• Stages of Insight
• Where is it all going?
• Changing your live

The mindfulness and meditation techniques that we'll cover:

• Cultivating guts - building your hara meditation
• Energizing your legs meditation
• Naitan – energy transformation meditation
• Bringing it all together meditation

This course runs over four weeks and is perfect for you if you’ve completed Meditation and Mindfulness for Insight PART 1, one of Patricia’s Introduction to Mindfulness courses or you have some meditation experience.

Course Cost: £120 (Parts 1&2) / £69 Part 1 or Part 2
