Refining your practice to find grace and power in every move. 

The secret to an effortless and strong practice lies in the basic moves we do. Whether we’re practising ashtanga or vinyasa or other flowing asana styles, we inevitably move through a core sequence of postures - standing, folding, lifting, chaturanga, updog, down dog. These shapes are familiar to us all and yet their intricacies often evade us.



Ema says “I don’t believe there is a ‘perfect chaturanga’ or an ideal vinyasa, but I do know that when we explore this sequence mindfully, it holds the key to the other shapes we move on to, from arm balances to backbends, from jump throughs to creative transitions and flow.”



Vinyasa Skillz is a course that answers the common questions that arise including: 


- what do I do if my wrists hurt in downward facing dog?
- how do I move from chaturanga to updog?
- how can I use vinyasas to generate more energy and not make me more tired?
- what is bandha?



In this course you’ll break down the everyday movements of vinyasa and empower yourself to execute them mindfully and skilfully. You’ll explore biomechanics, technique and subtle anatomy (energy, bandha & breath).

You’ll get to troubleshoot difficulties and weaknesses with Ema, and find a deep sense of integration to carry through every pose you do on the mat, and beyond into your lives beyond the yoga studio.

We recommend that you attend all classes in the course.

Six Week Course Cost £70

Limited to a maximum of 12 students
