Vinyasa yoga is a creative and playful format that allows us to explore varied forms of movement and practise a range of different shapes, challenging our bodies in multiple planes of motion through controlled and continuous varied transitions.
Vinyasa classes have an open and adaptable structure which leaves space for a wide range of moves and creative sequencing - so how do we approach putting together a vinyasa class that will guide practitioners of varying levels of experience through structurally sound, engaging and powerful flows for body and mind?
In this 4hr CPD workshop you’ll explore:
Intelligent anatomical patterning - laying strong foundations for the moves we make
How to offer options for multiple experience-levels at once
Introduction to theming beyond the physical
Accredited Continuing Education (CPD)
This workshop is registered with Yoga Alliance (www.yogaalliance.org) and provides 4 contact hours directly relating to Techniques, Training & Practice (1hr), Teaching Methodology (1hr), Anatomy & Physiology (1hr) and Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics (1hr).

About Ema
Ema came to yoga seeking emotional balance and found the route to that through the body. Although Ema is inspired by the spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga, their practice and classes are concrete and physical, informed by a solid grounding in anatomy. They say:
“We explore our physical form - the ‘field of action’ where our lives play out - to create harmony and health, and through the shapes we make, find freedom and new ways of inhabiting the world.”
Ema completed her 200-hour CYS Teacher Training at Merchant City Yoga in 2018 and since then has undertaken further training and study in anatomy, yin yoga, meditation, trauma-informed practice, yoga philosophy, history and Sanskrit.
Ema’s knowledge, experience, passion and enthusiasm come across in the warm, playful and encouraging atmosphere of their teaching.
