Saorsa | Yoga & Personal Development Workshop With Heather Gweneth Bird

  • Merchant City Yoga 2nd Floor, 49 Virginia Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 1TS United Kingdom (map)

Science has long shown the negative impact of chronic stress levels, and publicised statistics show that a high percentage of absences from work and higher education are related to stress from work-load, social situations and other home/financial challenges.

Yoga incorporates exercises and practices that improve health as well as philosophical concepts that can bring meaningful change into the lives of individuals and communities. Wellbeing that focusses on self-acceptance, personal growth and meaning has been shown to demonstrate widespread positive effects upon health, including less fatigue, pain, depression, chronic disease and improved quality of life.

This very special one day workshop blends together yoga, psychological resources and practices with a focus on improving your overall health, helping you build meaningful social connections, boosting your creativity and nurturing your connection with nature.

Based firmly on current research and practices this workshop will improve your well-being, motivation, overall performance and inspiration for the next chapters of your life!

Saorsa means ‘liberation’ in Scots Gaelic.

Workshop Cost £85

Participants will receive a Certification of Attendance for the Saorsa sessions as well as access to online resources to accompany the workshops. In addition, participants will have the option to join an online community providing tools and a safe space for health and wellbeing support and inspiration following course completion.
