Body, breath and movement – being conscious of what is.
We'll create space for stillness during this special pop up class, spending longer in postures and moving mindfully through vinyasa transitions to support the inner awareness of your practice.
The foundations of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga - breath, bandha, dristi and vinyasa - promote mindfulness. Our deliberate connection to these aspects of practice offer us the opportunity to connect deeply with our practice and ourselves.
You'll pause to reflect on how breath and movement intertwine throughout the primary series. Listening to your body as you move mindfully through this modified practice, preparing yourself for an extended final relaxation.
This pop up class will be offered as hybrid so you can join online or come along to the studio.

“One of the trickiest things about the development of certain qualities in practice is that they tend to very rarely reveal themselves in practice. They reveal themselves in our lives. The changes we want – more balance, more graciousness in letting go, clarity, wisdom – reveal themselves in our lives… the place you want to look to see if its worth pursuing is your life, because that’s where the results will show.” – U. G. Krishnamurti
