Ayurveda for Health with Siobhan Fitzgerald

  • Merchant City Yoga 2nd Floor, 49 Virginia Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 1TS United Kingdom (map)

Knowing more about your body and how to balance it is fundamental to growth on your yoga path.

Ayurveda is the medicine of India and includes yoga in its healing science. It offers a unique, individualised lifestyle approach for everyone according to the elements that are excessive in nature in that individual (Dosha).

In this workshop Siobhan will:

  • Discuss what Ayurveda treats as Vatta, Pitta and Kapha (the Tri-doshas);

  • Assess and determine your own Dosha;

  • Help you understand the way to eat or live according to your Dosha;

  • Learn a breathing practice to help balance your Dosha;

  • Learn about your individual diet approach and the foods that are good for you, easy to digest for you and help you stay in balance;

  • Share other great Ayurveda tips for nurturing yourself.

Ayurveda is a tool for life but it can be overwhelming so Siobhan will break it down into principles you can understand.

Expect to take away practical steps you can work with at home on a daily basis and these small changes can make a huge impact on how you feel.

Workshop Cost £30
