Join us for our 10th Annual 108 Sun Salutations in aid of Yogability!
Christmas here at MCY wouldn’t be Christmas without our annual 108 Sun Salutations celebration, and this year you can join us in the studio or join us online from home.
It’ll work the same way whether you’re in the studio or in your living room with 100% of the money raised going directly to Yogability…
I’ll count you through 108 Sun Salutations. If you’re thinking “108 Sun Salutations…there’s no way I can do that!” think again. You can make them as easy or as difficult as you like - we don’t hold in Downward Dog, you can step instead of jump and you can use your knees in all the transitions too.
If you don’t think you can make it through 108 Sun Salutations non-stop, just take a breather whenever you need to.
If you’re joining me in the studio we’ll celebrate together with a light brunch afterwards prepared with love by the dedicated Yogability team. If you’re joining online why not get a group of friends together and you can even celebrate your achievements with a wee glass of Bucks Fizz without having to worry about the drive home!
We ask you to raise sponsorship if you’re taking part and suggest you aim for £108 – that’s a £1 per Sun Salutation! But it really doesn’t matter how much or how little you raise.
In these challenging times charities suffer more than most so every penny really will make a massive difference helping Yogability continue to provide free yoga to children and adults with special needs, their families and carers in our community.
Registration costs just £37 and includes:
Participation in the event on 17 December 2022;
Exclusive 108 Sun Salutations t-shirt;
Lovingly prepared festive brunch if you’re with us in the studio!
Please hurry and book your place early to secure a space in the studio, or if you’re joining online it means we’ll be able to post your t-shirt to you so you can wear it on the day. And it’ll spur you on to get fundraising too!
There’s always a fantastic turn out for our 108 Sun Salutations challenge and this year, with the option to join us online, it’s truly a case of the more the merrier!

The schedule for the event is as follows:
9am Doors open
9.15am Welcome (be sure to wear your t-shirt!)
9.30am START 108 Sun Salutations
10.30am Extended relaxation (have a blanket handy!)
11am Celebratory Get Together - stay, chat & raise a glass to YOU. It’s optional so if you’re heading off be sure to say Cheerio!
