MCY's Got Talent - Maintaining Hip Mobility with Jean McInerney

I know that when Jean started her training with us back September 2019 she couldn’t imagine ever teaching a yoga class, never mind recording a class for us to share with you!

I’m committed to continuing to share great free resources with you even though classes are back in the studio. Jean’s commitment to practice and her quiet assurance when teaching make this session one I’m really proud to share.

She says…

“When I started my yoga journey over 6 years ago I never thought for a moment that I would ever be teaching yoga to others!

Teacher training at Merchant City Yoga was just the best experience – I loved every single minute. After graduating in August 2020, I began teaching a beginner’s class via Zoom for Yogarose and am delighted that we’ve now moved to ‘in person’ classes. I also teach 3 regular classes at David Lloyd Club, Hamilton, in the very studio I attended my first ever Ashtanga class taught by Rose Ann all those years ago!

I’ve recorded a short class focusing on hips and hope you enjoy it. Keeping mobility in the hips is so important especially as that’s one of the first places we lose flexibility as we age.

My beginner’s class can be booked via Yogarose Facebook page and I’m on Facebook and Instagram.”
