15-Minute Yoga Movement Video To Get The Whole Body Moving

We’ve all had those days where not much physical movement has happened, never mind yoga movement or yoga practice. 

Suddenly you realise you’ve been sitting still in one position for hours. Maybe you’ve been working at your desk. Or sat on the sofa binge-watching your favourite TV series (we do that sometimes too, don’t tell anyone). The body feels stiff and mentally we can feel a little sluggish.

A mindful practice inspired by somatic yoga, functional movement, Qigong…

Diana Krasniqi is one of our CYS teacher training graduates. She joined the teaching team here at MCY earlier this year. You can join her weekly Yoga Inspired Movement class every Tuesday evening.

Her classes are all about helping you build confidence in your body through movement. Diana draws elements of different movement practices together. Weaving traditional yoga poses, functional movement, Qigong and somatic therapy into every class. 

This combination of yoga and movement will help you build a connection with your body. Focussing on primal movements, reflexive strength / stability, and mobility. You’ll start to feel strong and resilient. Better able to combat the challenges of your day-to-day movement patterns and postural habits. 

Diana has shared a 15-minute yoga movement video for you. The purpose of this video is to give you a little insight into what you can expect in one of her classes. 

Practise along to the video at any time of the day. It’ll be perfect if you haven’t had a chance to move or exercise yet today. Just a great way to get the whole body moving.

Join Tuesday’s Yoga Inspired Movement class

Come and roll out your yoga mat with Diana every Tuesday 6pm till 7.15pm. Release tension in your body through feel-good flows, calm the mind and nervous system. Class is open to all levels including beginners.
