New morning class at MCY

We’ve got a new morning class starting here at MCY this Friday 6-8am.

You’re thinking “OUCH!”, right?

While it might make a whole lot of sense to get up a bit earlier and get your yoga practice in before your day sets off at a run, when it comes to actually rolling out of bed when the alarm goes off it’s a totally different ballgame…

But take heart – physically getting out of bed is the hardest part, once you’re up it’s all downhill from there!

And there’s a few things you can do to make things go more smoothly at a time when most of us are blindly stumbling around:

I lay out my yoga kit the night before so I literally just have to step into it after my shower;

I have my bag packed with clothes and work stuff, anything I’ll need for the rest of the day so there’s no faffing about in the morning;

I even have the kettle filled, tea bag and travel mug laid out so all I have to do is switch on/fill cup/drink tea.

Remember, there’s no need to worry if you’re a few minutes late. Because it’s an assisted self-practice class you can start whenever suits as long as you finish by 8am.

I’ll see you there – we don’t have to talk to each other, we’ll just roll out our mats side by side and begin…
