Peg Mulqueen & David Robson at MCY!

Get these dates in your diary pronto…

Peg Mulqueen Wednesday 12 – Sunday 16 October 2016

David Robson Wednesday 24 – Sunday 28 May 2017

I’m so excited to announce dates for these two fantastic international teachers devoted to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga to visit MCY!

We’ll do five days of Morning Mysore (Wednesday to Sunday) and a series of afternoon workshops Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

I’ll let you know as soon as we have booking for each one up and running, but for just now get the dates in your diary so that you don’t miss out!

PEG MULQUEEN (in her own words!)

“With a master’s degree in psychology, I was a counsellor for many years before yoga ruined that career. (Really, I just traded in a couch for a mat). Based out of  Bozeman, MT – I’ve been leading classes and workshops now for over a decade.

In other words – I’m old!

Sure, I’ve practiced various styles of yoga, but it’s within the traditional method of Ashtanga where I’ve finally made my home. I guess that makes me a bit of a latecomer to the world of Ashtanga – but thanks to the guiding influence of a caring network of supportive teachers (many of whom you will hear from on the Ashtanga Yoga Podcast), I’m certainly making up for lost time!”

Peg’s primary teacher is certified Ashtanga teacher, David Garrigues, but is grateful for the guiding influence of her Anatomy and Physiology teacher, David Keil and meditation teacher, John Churchill. When not on her mat, Peg is a contributing writer for Yoga Journal, Elephant Journal and other publications as well as blogging and podcasting here on her Ashtanga Dispatch website.

You can see her in conversation with Citiyoga here and hear her interviewed for her own podcast here!

DAVID ROBSON

David Robson is the owner and director of the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto. With 100 plus students each morning, he leads one of the world’s largest Mysore programs.

After completing a degree in Comparative Religion, David made his first trip to Mysore, India in 2002, where he initiated studies with his teacher Sharath Jois. Since then he has returned annually to deepen and enrich his practice and teaching, and in 2007 he was Authorised by the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute. David teaches workshops and retreats around the world, and he has released a popular series of videos about Ashtanga which you can find at Learn To Float.

AND FINALLY…

Here’s Peg interviewing David for her podcast (that’s where the pic at the top came from!).
